The 50 Pretty Cure Rankstravaganza
After nearly a decade and a half on television and over 680 episodes, there have been a lot of schoolgirls granted with the extraordinary gift of being able to pound monsters 10 times their size while wearing poofy dresses. And in all that time, none have yet fought Kamen Rider Decade. As disappointing as that last part is, there’s always been more to being a Pretty Cure than magical powers and transformation items. The ability to persevere when things get down, the ability to smile at the darkest of times, and the ability to inspire are all attributes that ideally all of these girls should have in common. And while they all do to an extent, some certainly fit this ideal more than others. Since 50 is a nice, round number, and a multiple of 10 is slightly more professional-sounding than a Buzzfeed list, I figured now would be a great time to rank them by me personal preference, seeing as if I put it off to 100, I’d go insane. So without further ado, in celebration of what is apparently this franchise’s 15th anniversary (except it’s not), “The 50 Pretty Cure Rankstravaganza”: Read More
